Densopol 60 Tape and Densopol 60 HT Tape
A synthetic fabric reinforcement coated with rubber bitumen adhesive compound and backed with a conformable pvc film. Due to its great flexibility Densopol 60 is used for wrapping small to medium diameter pipes, welded joints, bends and fittings on buried or submarine pipelines (including coated pipes). It can be applied by hand or wrapping machine. Densopol 60 HT Tape is available for use in tropical climates.
Advantages:
The toughness of the tape is due to the combination of the pvc backing and the fabric reinforcement in the bitumunous adhesive compound. The tape is particularly resistant to damage that may be caused by impact or poor backfill.
Densopol 80 Tape and Densopol 80 HT Tape
A synthetic fabric reinforcement coated with rubber bitumen adhesive compound and backed with a heavy duty pvc film. Densopol 80 is used for wrapping medium to large diameter pipes, welded joints, bends and fittings on buried or submarine pipelines (including coated pipes). It can be applied by hand or wrapping machine. Densopol 80 HT Tape is avaialble for use in tropical climates.
